How to Breathe Better with Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

Updated: Nov 1, 2023

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) runs in my family. My mother had several lung tests done, and her doctor said, " Your lungs are better than normal." what have you been doing? Her response was "Yoga". Yoga is physical, but if you listen and practice the breath cues, you will expand your lungs using diaphragmatic and abdominal muscles, filling the respiratory system more effectively and releasing. Breathing techniques help strengthen your diaphragm for a powerful, positive mind and body effect. Deep breathing, reduces anxiety, and maintains muscles, and increases flexibility.
